This page covers www.luniq.io only. The Orbit platform and the websites we build for clients run under their own agreements. We have not appointed a data protection officer, because we are not required to under Article 37 GDPR.
2. What we collect
We collect what you hand us through a form, and what our analytics records while you browse. Nothing else.
- Booking a call: your name, email, company, and anything you write in the notes field.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- Free website scan and the Orbit chat: your email address and the website domain you enter.
- Job applications: your name, email, phone, LinkedIn profile, your CV, and anything else you send along.
- Analytics: pages visited, referrer, approximate location, device and browser type.
3. Why we process it
We only process personal data when we have a lawful basis for it under the GDPR.

If we contacted you first. We use only business contact details that are publicly available or given to us professionally, we limit ourselves to what is relevant to your role, and we tell you who we are and how we found you. Every message has a way to opt out. Tell us to stop and we remove you the same day. If nothing comes of the contact within 12 months, we delete the record anyway.
We do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Anything our tools estimate on this site is informational, never an offer.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and bookings: 2 years after our last contact.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Job applications: 6 months after the role closes, longer only if you agree.
- Prospecting records: 12 months, or immediately once you object.
- Client and invoicing records: 7 years, as Belgian law requires.
- Analytics: 14 months.
After that we delete or anonymise the data.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your data
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your data
- restrict what we do with it
- hand it over in a portable format
- stop processing based on legitimate interest
- withdraw consent, which does not undo what was lawful before
Email legal@luniq.io and we will answer within one month, free of charge. If you are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).

We update this page whenever what we do changes. The date at the top tells you when we last did.
